Congratulations, Class of 2020

Dear Class of 2020,

I am so proud to honor the resilient Class of 2020! With your entire Adelphi family, I am thrilled to celebrate you today—what would have been your Commencement Day.

As our Graduate Student Council President Aaiza Naumann said so well, “Class of 2020, you are unbreakable.” I share that sentiment. We are inspired and amazed by you. You have persevered through the most unusual final semester any Adelphi class has ever known and demonstrated what remarkable determination looks like.

Until the time that we can gather safely to witness you cross the Commencement stage in your Adelphi robes, we celebrate this outstanding milestone of yours—virtually, of course.

Please enjoy these congratulatory videos from members of your University family and fellow alumni too. Look for your name in the Candidates for the Class of 2020 Virtual Book and, also, join us on social media where we will keep a daylong celebration going with the hashtag #AdelphiGrad2020. If you tag @AdelphiU in your reactions and posts, we’ll repost your messages on Adelphi’s Facebook, Instagram Story and Twitter all day as part of our celebration of the Class of 2020.

We hope you enjoy our virtual celebrations of this milestone moment in your life and all your outstanding accomplishments from a life-changing journey at Adelphi.

Congratulations and best wishes from me, and all of Adelphi!
